Innovator’s Society
The Innovator’s Society is an annual giving program designed to help build a lasting and sustainable funding source for the Cardiovascular Innovation Institute. Your unrestricted Innovator’s Society gift helps us find answers to cardiovascular disease while providing flexibility to meet emerging needs and seize new opportunities.
Membership in the Innovator’s Society starts with a minimum gift of $1,000, and includes the following benefits:
- A quarterly newsletter that will provide you inside information on CII research activities
- Membership in the University of Louisville 1798 Society
To join the Innovators Society, simply complete the information at the link below, and note in the Special Instructions that this is an annual gift. We will send you a pledge reminder every year on the anniversary of your first gift.
One-time Gifts
We recognize that you may have multiple charitable commitments and that you may not be able to make an annual commitment now through our Innovators Society or to make a bequest, so we also offer you the opportunity to make a one-time gift to support our research initiatives here. Nonetheless, we hope that you continue to keep the CII at the forefront of your mind when considering future gift plans.
Bequests or Legacy Gifts
A charitable bequest is one of the easiest ways you can leave a lasting impact on our organization. A bequest may be made in your will or trust directing a gift to our organization. There are a multitude of ways to make a bequest or legacy gift, including charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, insurance and IRAs, to name a few. Our in-house tax attorney will work with you to create the right plan that best fits your charitable goals and your family’s need.

The CII is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization. It is also part of the University of Louisville. All gifts to the CII are fully tax deductible. Gifts may be made directly to the CII or through the University of Louisville Foundation.
