First Look Program
The University of Louisville School of Medicine - the First Look Program (FLP). Designed to provide an immersive experience into the UofL School of Medicine and its renowned residency programs, this initiative promises to be a pivotal opportunity for aspiring medical professionals.
The First Look Program is a three-day, two-night event that offers an unparalleled glimpse into the vibrant academic and professional landscape at the University of Louisville. During this immersive experience, participants will have the chance to engage with key stakeholders, esteemed faculty members, and current residents and fellows. Moreover, you'll have the invaluable opportunity to familiarize yourself with the dynamic city of Louisville, our School of Medicine, and prospective departments.

Eligibility:
The selected students will be chosen based on their commitment to the UofL School of Medicine mission and on their fit to the UofL participating departments. View our First Look Brief Overview document for more information.
- Must be a third-year medical student (M3) at an accredited medical school/college.
- Must attend the totality of the First Look Program.
- Have a genuine interest in attending UofL's SOM for residency.
